Understanding the situation

Learn to swim, from the start, at home

Learning to swim is more than learning movements: it's getting comfortable in a new environment, gaining independence in the water, and building a safety foundation that lasts a lifetime.

At home, this learning happens entirely at the student's own pace, with no comparison to a group. The instructor adapts each session to real progress, not a fixed program set in advance.

This page is for anyone who doesn't yet have the basics — whatever the reason. If an active fear of water is the main obstacle, our fear of water page digs into that specifically; here, the goal is learning the basics themselves.

Why start now

Why start now

The longer a child waits to learn to swim, the more the gap with classmates can weigh on their confidence — not to mention safety, essential as soon as a child is near a pool, lake or beach.

There's no bad time to start, but structured, regular learning always gives better results than improvised lessons during a vacation.

How home learning works

How home learning works

Every lesson is one-on-one: the instructor gives a full 45 minutes to a single student, with no waiting between exercises as often happens in group lessons.

Progress follows concrete steps — building confidence, floating, breathing, then swim strokes — always in the order that suits the student, never an identical program for everyone.

The schedule is built around the family's, in your own pool or a local partner pool if you don't have one.

No. Our lessons are designed to start from the student's real level, including zero prior water exposure. Floating itself is one of the first steps taught.
